The Gift and the Curse

Here is a follow up post to my previous post 'Do you believe in magic?'. After days of getting the fenders rolled/cut, wheels cambered and the ride height dialed in we finally put the car on the ground and took it for a little of what we like to call "Friday Night Stuntin". After getting the car out of the garage and on the road, we soon realized that we had a huge rubbing issue in the rear. With it already being in the late hours of the day and the fact we have been working on the car for 2 days straight we said "forget it, let's go stunt!" After driving around the city for decent amount of time we ended up at QuikTrip to get some drinks and check on the tires. After further investigation of the tires we realized the fender was cutting into the sidewall. With this pretty much ending our night we took a few quick photos while at the QT before we headed back to the casa. After realizing that certain suspension components are complete garbage from factory we were forced to raise the car to an unattractive ride height. So we came to a decision to wait on the full feature photoshoot until we get the suspension in order.

This is the desired stance we want to get back to.

Rear shot of the fitment. Epic!

Volk Racing Formula lugs are sweet!

New sway bars, end links, P.S.R.S and rear lateral links from Perrin have been ordered. Hopefully this will allow us to bring the car back down to it's old stance instead of rally spec stance. Stay tuned!
